Designed in the late 18th century, the soon to be ubiquitous butcher
knife began to be used for everything from skinning animals in the
woods, cooking and baking, to self defense and scalping. Similar knives
also came to be used in impalement arts, such as knife throwing, often
found in circuses and sideshows. Not quite as versatile or useful but
featuring the same classic and iconic design, this simple necklace
features a petite butcher knife charm with a perfect antiqued finish on a
coordinating 18" chain with matching clasp. Designed by Rubella Jewelry.
